WHY TESTOSTERONE LEVELS MATTER

Libido. Sperm production. Your performance in the bedroom. Testosterone is crucial for male sexual development. It also regulates our male characteristics from muscle mass and strength to the growth of our facial and body hair.

Testosterone levels drop with increasing age. And because of this, men tend to experience a decrease in testicular size, a drop in libido, muscle mass loss, lower bone density, increased fat production, fatigue and poor concentration and memory to name but a few.

There is strong evidence that certain nutrients and plant extracts can increase testosterone levels naturally. Enter BOOST, your daily testosterone support. So, you can unlock your inner Viking.

backed by science

BOOST was developed with an expert nutritionist and is backed by numerous clinical studies. It’s also been third party tested.

  • A 90-day randomised, double-blind, placebo-controlled study involving 75 healthy men aged 45–55 years found PrimaVie® Shilajit supplementation was associated with significant increases in total testosterone (+20%) and free testosterone (+19%) from baseline. The placebo group experienced significant decreases in testosterone levels. Additionally, the Shilajit group showed a 31% increase in DHEA-S (a precursor to testosterone), while gonadotropic hormones (LH and FSH) were well maintained.

    View Study
  • In 28 oligospermic infertile men, a 90-day clinical study found that supplementation with Shilajit (200 mg/day) was associated with a significant 23.5% increase in serum testosterone levels. The study also showed substantial improvements in sperm parameters from baseline, including a 61.4% increase in total sperm count, a 37.6% increase in spermia (semen volume), an 18.9% increase in normal sperm count, and improved sperm motility (+12.4% to 17.4%).

    View Study
  • An 8-week randomised, double-blind, placebo-controlled study involving 63 recreationally active young men (mean age 21 years) found that daily supplementation with PrimaVie® Shilajit significantly improved retention of maximal muscular strength following a fatiguing protocol compared with placebo. The study also showed greater reductions in serum hydroxyproline (a marker of collagen breakdown) in the Shilajit group.

    View Study
  • A 56-day randomised double-blind, placebo-controlled clinical trial evaluated Tesnor® supplementation in 120 healthy men aged 36–55 years with age-related symptoms. Participants received 200mg or 400mg Tesnor® daily or placebo. Both doses significantly increased testosterone levels. Free testosterone increased by 39.2% (200 mg) and 48.3% (400 mg), while total testosterone increased by 21.4% and 24.6%. Tesnor® also improved aging male symptoms (AMS score reduced by 15.5–19.3%), psychological well-being (Perceived Stress Scale reduced by 15–23%), sexual well-being, and hand-grip strength vs. placebo.

    View Study
  • A 56-day randomised double-blind, placebo-controlled clinical trial investigated the effects of Tesnor® supplementation in 120 healthy young men aged 21–35 years. Participants received 200mg or 400mg Tesnor® daily or placebo. Both doses resulted in significant increases in testosterone levels. Free testosterone increased by 13.7% (200 mg) and 25.3% (400 mg), while total testosterone increased by 6.2% and 18.9%. Tesnor® also improved hand-grip strength (up to 5.7%) and mid-upper arm circumference (up to 0.71%) vs. placebo.

    View Study
  • An 84-day randomised, double-blind, placebo-controlled clinical trial evaluated 400 mg Tesnor® daily supplementation in 120 men aged 40–70 years with mild-to-moderate erectile dysfunction and low sexual desire. Tesnor® significantly improved sexual function: overall sexual function score increased by +122%, erectile function score by +72%, and erection hardness score by +81% vs. placebo. Participants also reported enhanced libido, reduced fatigue, better sleep quality, and improved well-being. Physical performance benefits included increased hand-grip strength and greater six-minute walk test distance vs. placebo.

    View Study
  • In 57 young males (aged 18–50 years), a double-blind, randomised, placebo-controlled study found that daily supplementation with KSM-66® Ashwagandha for 8 weeks was associated with a significant 15.3% increase in testosterone concentrations compared with only a 2.7% increase in the placebo group. The Ashwagandha group also showed significantly greater improvements in muscle strength (bench press and leg extension), larger increases in muscle size (arm, chest, and thigh circumference), and more than double the reduction in body fat percentage compared with placebo.

    View Study
  • In 50 adult males (mean age ~34–35 years), a double-blind, randomised, placebo-controlled study found that daily supplementation with KSM-66® Ashwagandha root extract for 8 weeks was associated with a significant 17% increase in serum testosterone compared with a 2% increase in the placebo group. The Ashwagandha group also showed significantly greater improvements in overall sexual function and well-being scores across all domains (cognition/fantasy, arousal, behaviour, orgasm, and desire) compared with placebo.

    View Study
  • A double-blind, randomised, placebo-controlled study examined the effect of KSM-66® Ashwagandha root extract on 46 oligospermic infertile men (aged 22–40 years). Supplementing with KSM-66® for 90 days was associated with a significant 17% increase in serum testosterone compared with a minimal 3.8% increase in the placebo group. There was also a 167% increase in sperm count, a 53% increase in semen volume, and a 57% increase in sperm motility from baseline on day 90. Improvements in these parameters were minimal in the placebo group.

    View Study
  • A 2018 systematic review of 4 clinical trials involving a total of 173 men found that 90 days of Ashwagandha (Withania somnifera) supplementation significantly improved sperm parameters and testosterone levels. It increased sperm concentration by +167%, semen volume by +59%, sperm motility by +57%, and serum testosterone by +17%. The review also found significant improvements in oxidative biomarkers and antioxidant vitamins in seminal plasma, suggesting Ashwagandha helps reduce oxidative stress in reproductive tissues.

    View Study
  • A controlled study involving 150 men (75 fertile controls and 75 infertile men) found that the 75 infertile men treated with Ashwagandha root (Withania somnifera) extract for 3 months showed significant improvements in multiple sperm parameters: sperm count increased by +16.2%, sperm motility by +47.3%, sperm viability by +40.7%, and ejaculate volume by +36.1%. It also significantly increased serum testosterone, FSH, and LH levels while reducing oxidative stress markers.

  • A 12-week randomised double-blind, placebo-controlled study evaluated 600 mg daily of Testofen® in 120 healthy aging men aged 43–70 years. Testofen® significantly increased total and free testosterone levels vs. placebo and reduced Aging Male Symptoms score. Sexual function improved noticeably — frequency of sexual activity increased from 1.5 times per week to 3 times per week, and participants also reported more frequent morning erections compared to the placebo group. Men taking Testofen® experienced better energy, mood, and overall well-being.

    View Study
  • An 8-week randomised double-blind, placebo-controlled study evaluated Testofen® in 138 men aged 25–47 years who followed a calisthenics (bodyweight) training program. Participants took 300 mg or 600 mg of Testofen® daily or a placebo. The 600 mg group showed a significant increase in testosterone levels from baseline, greater improvements in muscle strength (especially leg press), increased lean muscle mass (+1.8%), and reduced body fat (−1.4%) compared to placebo. Both doses helped men gain more strength than training alone.

    View Study
  • A 6-week randomised double-blind, placebo-controlled study evaluated 600 mg daily of Testofen® in 60 healthy men aged 25–52 years. Testofen® significantly improved libido and all major aspects of sexual function. Men reported substantially better sexual desire and arousal, with the frequency of sexual activity increasing from approximately 1 time per week to 2.5 times per week. Overall sexual function (measured by DISF-SR score) improved significantly across domains including arousal and orgasm. The study also noted positive effects on energy levels and general well-being, while maintaining testosterone within a healthy normal range.

  • A 4-week randomised double-blind, placebo-controlled study evaluated daily supplementation of Panax ginseng in 62 middle-aged men with metabolic syndrome (average age ~50–55 years). Ginseng supplementation was associated with an increase in total testosterone levels (approximately +5.6%), a significant rise in IGF-1 (a key hormone that supports muscle growth and repair), and a significant reduction in cortisol (the body’s main stress hormone) compared to placebo. It also improved mitochondrial function (the energy producers in cells) and lowered diastolic blood pressure.

    View Study
  • A systematic review and meta-analysis of 7 randomised, double-blind, placebo-controlled trials (349 men with erectile dysfunction) found that Panax Ginseng significantly improved erectile function. Men taking ginseng were 2.4 times more likely to report improved erections compared to placebo. The review concluded that ginseng has a positive effect on sexual performance and satisfaction.

    View Study
  • A 12-week randomised double-blind, placebo-controlled study evaluated daily supplementation of Maca in 57 healthy men aged 21–56 years. Maca significantly increased sexual desire, with 42.2% of men in the maca group reporting an increase at 12 weeks (compared to 0% in the placebo group).

    View Study
  • A 12-week randomised double-blind, placebo-controlled study evaluated daily supplementation of Maca in 50 men with mild erectile dysfunction. Maca led to a significantly greater improvement in erectile function (IIEF-5 score increased by 1.6 points vs 0.5 points in placebo). Men taking maca also reported better overall sexual well-being, along with significant improvements in physical performance, social performance, and psychological performance, as well as improvements in energy and mood.

    View Study
  • A 12-week randomised double-blind, placebo-controlled study evaluated Tribulus Terrestris supplementation in 180 men (aged 18-65) with mild to moderate erectile dysfunction. Tribulus significantly improved erectile function, libido, and overall sexual satisfaction compared to placebo. Benefits were more pronounced in men with lower baseline sexual function.

  • A systematic review of 38 studies concluded that zinc deficiency reduces testosterone levels and zinc supplementation improves testosterone levels.

    View Study
  • A 1996 study published in Nutrition found that inducing marginal zinc deficiency in young healthy men caused serum testosterone levels to drop by approximately 75% (from 39.9 to 10.6 nmol/L) after 20 weeks. In contrast, zinc supplementation in marginally zinc-deficient elderly men increased testosterone levels by nearly 100% after 3–6 months.

    View Study
  • In a 6-week study involving young sedentary individuals and athletes (mean age approximately 20–21 years), zinc supplementation (3 mg/kg body weight per day) combined with weight training was associated with significant increases in both total testosterone and free testosterone levels. The groups receiving zinc supplementation (with or without training) showed notable rises in testosterone compared to the control group, with the combination of zinc and weight training producing the greatest improvements.

    View Study
  • A controlled 4-week study involving 30 young adult men (10 sedentary and 20 taekwondo athletes) found supplementation with magnesium (10 mg/kg body weight daily) increased free and total testosterone levels in both sedentary subjects and athletes at rest and after exhaustion. Increases were higher amongst athletes (up to +24% free T and +15% total T post-exhaustion vs. baseline), with supplementation amplifying exercise-induced T rises.

    View Study
  • A cross-sectional study of 399 men aged ≥65 years found that low serum magnesium levels were independently associated with -15% lower total testosterone and -12% lower insulin-like growth factor 1 (IGF-1, an anabolic hormone proxy), after adjusting for age, BMI, and comorbidities. It concluded that higher magnesium levels are strongly and positively correlated with total testosterone and IGF-1, independent of other factors.

    View Study
  • A 2003 controlled trial involving 69 infertile men who were randomised to receive either placebo, 200 μg/day selenium alone, or selenium plus vitamins for 3 months found the selenium groups showed significant improvements in sperm motility (up to 52.6% increase) and morphology via enhanced antioxidant activity (e.g., reduced lipid peroxidation).

    View Study
  • A 2024 meta-analysis of 17 randomised controlled trials involving 1,774 adult men found that vitamin D supplementation significantly increased total testosterone levels. The positive effect was more pronounced with higher doses and longer durations (>12 weeks), with stronger benefits observed in older men.

    View Study
  • In 102 middle-aged men (mean age 53 years) with vitamin D deficiency, a prospective study found that high-dose vitamin D supplementation (initial loading dose of 600,000 IU / 15,000 mcg followed by monthly maintenance doses for 12 months) significantly improved erectile function scores (IIEF-5) by +46% (from 13.88 to 20.25). The supplementation also increased total testosterone levels by +28% (from 12.46 to 15.99 nmol/L), reduced estradiol, improved blood sugar control (lowered HbA1c), and led to a significant reduction in BMI (from 33.91 to 33.14 kg/m²).

    View Study
  • A 2021 cross-sectional study of 260 men found that higher vitamin D levels were directly correlated with better semen quality (including higher sperm concentration and motility), improved sperm function, and higher testosterone levels.

    View Study
  • In 54 healthy overweight men (mean age ~48 years) with low vitamin D levels, a randomised, double-blind, placebo-controlled study found that vitamin D supplementation (3,332 IU / 83μg daily for 1 year) significantly increased total testosterone by +25% (from 10.7 to 13.4 nmol/L), bioactive testosterone by +20%, and free testosterone by +20% from baseline compared to placebo. No significant change in testosterone occurred in the placebo group.

    View Study
  • A meta-analysis of 8 studies involving 4055 patients found vitamin D deficiency was significantly associated with severe forms of erectile dysfunction.

    View Study
  • A cross-sectional study of 302 infertile men found that higher ascorbic acid (Vitamin C) levels were associated with higher total testosterone and improved overall androgenic (male hormone) status. The researchers concluded that Vitamin C is linked with better testosterone levels in men with fertility issues, likely due to its strong antioxidant protection of Leydig cells (the cells that produce testosterone).

    View Study
  • In 303 men with infertility, low serum Vitamin B12 levels were significantly associated with a higher risk of testosterone deficiency. Men with higher B12 levels had better testosterone profiles. This study suggests that maintaining adequate B12 status may help support healthy testosterone levels in men.

    View Study
  • A 2017 systematic review and meta-analysis examined the effect of folic acid (Vitamin B9) supplementation, often combined with zinc, in sub-fertile and infertile men. The combination of folate and zinc was associated with significant improvements in sperm parameters compared to controls, including increased sperm concentration and better sperm morphology. These benefits appear linked to folate and zinc working together to reduce oxidative stress and support DNA synthesis during sperm production.

    View Study
  • A 2023 systematic review published in the journal Antioxidants analysed the effects of antioxidant supplementation on male fertility. The authors found that combinations containing Vitamin C, Vitamin E, Zinc, and Selenium can help improve sperm quality and increase the chances of successful pregnancy in couples undergoing fertility treatments like IVF. These nutrients work by reducing oxidative stress that can damage sperm and the cells that produce testosterone. The review supports using these antioxidants together for better male reproductive health.

FAQs

Some answers to your most burning questions. Find more answers on our FAQ page.

View All FAQs

What are the benefits of BOOST?

They’re numerous. For example, clinical research shows that supplementing our diet with the nutrients in BOOST can help:

  • boost testosterone levels
  • regulate hormonal activity
  • support male sexual and reproductive function
  • enhance libido
  • increase muscle mass and strength
  • keep bones strong
  • support learning, memory and recall
  • provide support in periods of stress & anxiety
  • maintain optimal stamina and energy levels
  • contribute to normal function of the immune system

What makes BOOST different from other natural testosterone supplements?

Most supplements pick one or two ingredients and call it a formula. BOOST has 19 active ingredients — including 6 patented, clinically-dosed natural compounds used in human trials that proved they work: Testofen® 600mg, PrimaVie® 300mg, KSM-66® 300mg, Tesnor® 200mg, ForsLean® 250mg, and BioPerine® 5mg.

We believe it's the most comprehensive natural testosterone supplement on the market. And unlike most, we show you exactly what's in it and exactly how much. Because if a brand won't tell you the dose, there's usually a reason.

When will I feel the difference?

Most men notice better sleep and steadier energy within the first two weeks. The deeper changes — strength, drive, body composition, libido — build over 60 to 90 days. That's how hormonal support works. Your body isn't a light switch.

Give it 90 days before you judge it. The men who do are the ones who never leave.

Is BOOST safe to take with other supplements?

Yes. BOOST is formulated from natural ingredients. Most men take it alongside protein, creatine, and electrolytes without any issue.

If you're on prescription medication — particularly anything affecting hormone levels or blood pressure — check with your GP first. If you have a specific question, message us directly. We'll give you a straight answer.

What if it doesn't work for me?

We take BOOST ourselves. Everyone here does. We wouldn't sell something we don't believe in.

But we'll be straight with you — no supplement works identically for every man. What we can tell you is this: give it 90 days of consistent use before you judge it. Half-hearted, inconsistent use won't move the needle. Taken daily, as part of a decent routine, the results speak for themselves.

Over 4,000 men subscribe to BOOST every month. Most of them have tried other things first. That retention rate is our answer to this question.

Why is a natural testosterone supplement better than TRT?

It isn't always. If you've been clinically diagnosed with low testosterone (hypogonadism), TRT may be the right medical call. We're not here to replace that conversation.

But most men aren't clinically deficient — they're in the grey zone. Suboptimal. That's where BOOST works. It supports your body's own natural production rather than replacing it.

TRT shuts your natural production down entirely. You're injecting synthetic hormones, managing needles, dealing with protocols — and if you come off, you're often worse than when you started. BOOST has no such dependency. It works with your biology, not instead of it.

Try optimising your natural levels first. That's exactly what BOOST is built for.

What are Botanicals?

Specifically, in the health and wellness field, the term Botanicals refers to plants or parts of plants (i.e. leaf, root, stem, and flower) with medicinal value or health benefits. Examples of botanicals include Ashwagandha, Fenugreek, Ginger and Tribulus Terrestris.

What do the clinical studies show?

Numerous benefits. Check out the scientific studies behind the ingredients in BOOST here.

DON’T JUST TAKE OUR WORD FOR IT

“In the supplement space… Shilajit can increase testosterone and follicle-stimulating hormone, making it an aphrodisiac and fertility tonic… Ashwagandha is a very potent suppressor of cortisol… there’s some evidence it can indirectly increase testosterone… Zinc, magnesium, and vitamin D are crucial for hormone production including testosterone."

  • Chris – 9 Months on BOOST

    Verified subscriber

I didn’t realise how much I’d slowed down until I started BOOST. I had no real motivation, my gym sessions were inconsistent and I just felt “off” mentally. Even my sleep and libido had taken a hit. After 9 months, everything feels more balanced. I recover better from training, I’m stronger in the gym, my focus at work is sharper and my mood is steady. It’s not dramatic or artificial — I just feel optimised. More energy, better drive, and a noticeable lift in overall wellbeing.

  • Paul – 5 Months on BOOST

    Verified subscriber

Before BOOST, I just didn’t feel like myself. I was flat, unmotivated, snapping over small things and constantly tired. On paper my life was good — family, job, routine — but I couldn’t put my finger on why I felt so low so often. After 5 months on BOOST, the difference has been solid. My mood is more stable, my drive is back, I’m training properly again and my energy lasts all day. I feel switched on, more confident and far more like the man I used to be.

  • Tony – 6 Months on BOOST

    Verified subscriber

After my divorce, life hit hard. It turned my world upside down. I wasn’t seeing my kids as much as I’d like, took a financial knock, and if I’m honest, I was on a slow slide down. Low energy, poor motivation, training stopped, and I just felt flat. Something had to change — and quickly.

Six months on BOOST, I feel back in control. My energy’s consistent, I’m back in the gym regularly, and my drive has returned. It’s given me the push to rebuild — physically and mentally. I feel stronger, more focused, and more like the man my kids need me to be.
